Potpourri of tidbits about Tamil cinema - Actor Kamal Hassan
During the organized function Kamal congratulated me and expressed his happiness in my signing such a document as a long-term friend even before any of his fans trying to attempt it. He jovially remarked that not withstanding the fact whether it will be added by the legendary ‘Chithirakuptha’ in his annals, the noble act will find a place in Science books. He stressed that every one can be an eye opener for the nation and that requires only an open heart to perform such noble acts, thus he appreciated me before his fans.
It is quite heartening to note that despite his reaching dizzy heights in Indian cinema, Kamal continue to maintain his composure without becoming heady and move with every one with the same friendliness. It will not be an exaggerated statement if we call him a 'Treasure Trove of Tamil Cinema'.
