Character Artist M.G.Chakrapani

From his first film Iru Sagotharargal (1936) to Nalai Namathey (1975) he has acted in 37 films in different roles such as Villain, innocent man, affectionate brother, uncle, father and friend and earned the name as the best character artist.

When MGR was suspended from the DMK party, M.G.Chakrapani gave all the encouragement to MGR to start a new party assuring that the new party will get the support of the Tamil mothers and MGR fans. Thus he paved way for the starting of AIADMK party.

M.G.Chakrapani was appreciative and proud of the actions of MGR in not dragging any one of the family members for the party activities and give them the party positions. In fact he himself propagated in the elections for the success of the others.

Now, Pradeep son of Balu and the grand son of MG Chakrapani is taking efforts to poppularise the fame of M.G.Chakrapani.
