The new-born child smiled at people expressing happiness, Siddhas are with us, kalyanamalai Tamil Weekly magazine, Serial story

Normally, a new-born child cries at birth. People in Mangolia were astonished when they saw the new-born child smiling at everyone expressing happiness at birth, contrary to nature! Many were able to see a halo around the child and realized that it was not an ordinary human but divine. The child displayed supernatural and heavenly traits as it grew up and people looked upon it as a supernatural being. One day, a saint happened to see the child. He requested that the child be handed over to him and promised its parents to make him a saint. He convinced the parents and took the seven-year old boy with him.

As the boy had already divinity in him he acquired ‘ashtama siddhi’ very soon. He was able to enter another body and was able to fly in the sky. With his ability, he came to Chatuargiri Mountain in Tamil Nadu from Mangolia covering the distance by flying through air. And, he got the ‘darshan’ of sage Agasthya too! Realizing that the boy would become a great siddha in future and help the mankind, Agasthya named him Bogar.

Bogar became a student of the great siddha Kalanginathar and with the blessings of his guru, Bogar attained a place of great eminence. He learned the science of medicine and working with Brahmarishi cultivated on the Chaturagri Mountain, Kollimalai and Parvathagiri a variety of medicinal plants that would help the mankind lead a long life, free of diseases. He cured many of incurable diseases. The entire world wondered at his achievements. Bogar worked very hard to develop a medical system that could withstand the ravages of time. He created ‘Navabhashana’ and made an idol of Lord Muruga with it and installed it at Pazhanimalai. The idol was made with the deadly poison of 108 king cobras and eight other ‘bhashanas’. This idol is one of the wonders of the world. It can cure even cancers. There are no other ‘Navabhashana’ idols in the world. The sacred ash used for ‘abhishek’ to this idol has the capacity of curing all the diseases if consumed regularly.

It is really a great boon that Bogar, who belongs to another country, has settled down in Tamil Nadu. He has blessed us with many medical notes. Even today, he is among us, though in an invisible form, guiding us in times of contingency and emergency. It is true that God will always help us, but Siddhas come to our help instantly, there’s no doubt about this.
