Before retiring to bed, wash your feet well, dry them and then massage well with coconut or olive oil. During winter, mustard oil can be heated lightly and used for massage. Coconut oil is suitable for massage during summer. Massaging helps prevent occurrence of pain.


If you get sores on the feet due to shoes or slippers that do not fit your feet properly, apply the juice of papaya fruit or the milk from figs on the affected area. The sores will dry up fast.


The cracks on the toes occur due to dryness in the body. Also, the feet become hardened. Add one teaspoonful of gingilly oil to three teaspoonful of honey, heat the mixture lightly and apply the same to the feet. you’ll get immediate relief.

Keep your feet immersed in hot water for 15 minutes before going to bed. Then scrub the skin and wash off using soap.


Ayurvedic creams (moisturizers) are available for making the feet soft. This should be applied daily at night. You can watch and feel the change in your feet that become softer day by day.
