Honor to Kalyanamalai

Thiraichuvai’ (Potpourri of tidbits) by Majordasan, being published in Kalyanamalai magazine as a series from July 2009 is receiving very good response from the readers. Poompuhar Publications, impressed with the series, approached Majordasan for permission to publish it in the form of a book. On getting his approval, the publications released the first part of the book on 5-7-2011 at a function got up at the Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium at Mylapore. ‘Kavignar’ Vaali released the first copy and film producer A. V. M. Saravanan and ‘Mellisai Mannar’ M. S. Viswanathan received the copy. The function was attended by many film luminaries, journalists and media persons.

In his speech, Majordasan paid respects to Kalyanamalai and honored Mr. Mohan and Meera Nagarajan. ‘Kavignar’ Vaali handed over the copies to both Mr. Mohan and Meera Nagarajan. Kalyanamalai felicitated Majordasan by honoring him with the traditional ‘ponnaadai’.
