Beauty is not restricted to the face alone; we want all parts of our body to look beautiful. Our hands play a major role in our daily work and activities. We want our hands to be not only strong but also looking beautiful. We use various lotions to prevent our skin from shrinking. And, we get manicuring done in beauty parlors. There are no women who do not bother about their nails.

We use nail polish in different colors to beautify our nails. If we adopt correct methods in treating our hands, we can surely have attractive hands and fingers, the beauticians say. Let us now see the simple aids that beauticians recommend for maintaining the beauty of our hands and fingers.

Healthy food is very important for strong and healthy nails. Health is the basis for beauty. Balanced diet helps the nails to remain firm and not easily breakable. But, some people will have soft nails as per their constitution. They can apply nail strengtheners on their nails. These are available in shops. But very hard strengtheners should be avoided because they might harm the cuticle of the nails.

If the edges of the nails are hard, you can apply either oil or a good cuticle cream on the nails. Also, nails should be shaped properly. It is always better to keep the nails at a particular length to avoid breaking of the nails. They should not be grown very long. If you want your nails to always look beautiful, then take care when opening a box or tin or can. Those with broken nails should wash their hands in hot water. If the broken nails are to grow, nail polish should be avoided.

Hands deserve equal care and maintenance. Manicuring can be done in the parlor. It is better to remove the bangles and rings before manicuring. Also, the polish on the nails should be removed using the polish remover. While filing the nails, you should be careful. After filing, the fingers should be kept in soap solution and scrubbed. As the nails break easily when they are wet, you should be careful. Apply cuticle cream or lotion on the nails using ear buds or cotton. Clean the nails with nail polish remover. When the nails are ready, apply the base coat and leave on. Then apply the nail polish as outline. Fill in with vertical strokes. When the polish is fully dry, apply top coat. Finally, massage the hands and fingers with hand cream. Remove the excess cream. Now, look at your hands and fingers! You’ll feel like having acquired a pair of new hands!
