For a glowing skin …!

Kalyanamalai Matrimonial Magazine- Beauty Tips - For a glowing skin

If we look at the mirror on returning home after an outing, we can see our face looking dull with dirt and sweat. Dark spots, acne and pimples occur due to this dirt accumulation. We believe that by washing the face with soap, the dirt is washed off fully. The soap removes only the dirt on the surface, the dirt staying in the pores of the skin cannot be removed by soap. The skin can be considered as being clean only if this dirt is also removed.

For those, who want a glowing and clean skin, here are some tips:

Cleansing – Take one teaspoonful of milk (not boiled). Dip a cotton ball into it and smear the milk in circular movements all over your face. While applying on the neck, do it in upward movements. Leave on for 15 minutes and then wash off in cold water. You can see that all the dirt has been removed and that the skin looks as clear as a mirror! There are many methods to remove the dirt from the skin. Cut cucumber into circular pieces (its skin need not be peeled). Massage the face with it in circular movements and leave on for 15 minutes. Lemon juice can also be used instead of cucumber. Also, tomato juice can be applied in a similar manner. The face can be massaged with some fruit juice or milk. Bengal gram powder should be used instead of soap to wash the face.

Those with oily skin can use a mixture of green gram powder, rice flour and curd as face-pack. Wash off after half an hour. If you want to put make up, spray water to which lemon juice has been added onto the face. This will be a good foundation. Buttermilk can also be used as foundation. It can be applied on the face and the neck and can be removed after 15 minutes using cotton. Also, rubbing the face with ice cubes helps a lot. Apple can be sliced into thin pieces and placed all over the face and left to remain for 15 minutes. Apple absorbs the excess oil and closes the sweat pores as well.

Cleanliness is the basis for beauty. So, the skin should be cleansed first in any one of the methods prescribed above. All these procedures are very easy to practice as the ingredients are available at our kitchen itself.

You’ll be surprised to see your face at the mirror if you take care to cleanse as well as soften your skin regularly repeating any one of the above methods. And, you’ll shout with joy “Hi, I look beautiful yaar …!”
